AVID

AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a school-wide system which emphasizes a college/ career ready culture throughout RHS.  

The curriculum is based off of WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading)  AVID is also an elective class offered to students who need a push towards a more rigorous curriculum and ultimately onto a 4-year University.  

At RHS, we value the power of connections and relationships so our AVID elective teachers follow their students from grades 9-12.  RHS is a highly certified school and has been since 2014.
