2026-2027 Fee Structure

Our athletic and activity programs play a vital role in our students' lives, teaching teamwork, resilience, and leadership. To ensure we can continue offering high-quality experiences and maintain the stability of these programs amid rising operational costs, ISD 728 will adjust participation fees and ticket prices starting in the 2026-2027 school year.

This is a decision we do not take lightly. It is important to note that ISD 728 has not increased participation fees in 18 years. During nearly two decades of static pricing, the costs of equipment, officials, transportation, and facilities have risen significantly. This adjustment brings our district back into alignment with our peers in the Mississippi 8 and Northwest Suburban Conferences, ensuring our programs remain competitive and sustainable.

  • Cluster A ($300): Football, Hockey, Basketball, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Swim & Dive, Wrestling, Volleyball, Cadets, and Dance Team.
  • Cluster B ($275): Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Track & Field, Cross Country, Tennis, Golf, and Nordic Ski.

We remain committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances.

Families can qualify for significantly reduced activity fees by applying for Educational Benefits.

  • Action Required: You must apply each year; benefits do not carry over from the previous school year.
  • Impact: Qualifying not only helps your family reduce activity fees but also increases federal and state funding for our schools.
  • Next Steps: Once approved, you will receive an eligibility letter. Please provide a copy of this letter to your school office to apply the reduced rates to your registration.

Payment Options

Co-Curricular Fee Payment Options: Pay with Registration or "Pay at a Later Date". If you select to “Pay at a Later Date” the Fee will be available for payment on the Parent Portal “Fee Tab” the following business day.

Please note that the ISD 728 Family Maximum per school year is $1,000 (MS sports excluded from this calculation). Contact the Activities Office if you have reached or are approaching that amount.  Please note this does not include Middle School or Youth Sports.  Please choose "Pay at a Later Date" and contact Alissa Ostroot.

Once your cart has been successfully submitted, you will receive an email stating, "Thank you for registering for an ISD728 Activity”.  If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration has not been submitted successfully.  Please try again.
