Attendance Reminders
Please plan ahead for your student's appointments/early dismissals. It is important to communicate with your student when they are to leave. While we understand that last minute needs do arise, we try to minimize interrupting class time. Students that are leaving for appointments during the day will not receive a pass, it will be updated in their attendance.
RHS does not have an open campus. Students who are scheduled to be here for in person classes or lunch are not allowed to leave to go to their cars, coffee shops, restaurants or home.
PSEO and online students ARE allowed to leave the building during times they do not have in-person classes or lunch. If choosing to remain on campus, they need to remain in the Media Center

Cheer
Informational Meeting - Thursday March 5, 2026
- Thursday March 5, 2026
- At the TruStone Center (formerly known as the RAC) - in the Activities Room
- 7:45p to 9:00p
All interested athletes and their parents are encouraged to attend.
We will be going over what it means to be a Rogers Royals Cheerleader, as well as what changes to our program and tryouts are going to look like this year.
Anyone trying out and being selected for a team will also be required to attend a mandatory meeting after tryouts on Monday April 13th.
Open Gyms - March 10, 17, 18, 24, & 26
We will be incorporating stunting evaluations into tryouts this year, athletes are invited and highly encouraged to attend any (or all) of our open gyms. Attending Open Gyms is NOT mandatory for tryouts, but will be helpful to those trying out!
During open gyms, athletes will have the opportunity to practice their cheerleading skills ahead of tryouts - specifically stunting - in a loosely structured environment. Coaches will be available for supervision and basic instruction, but will not be completely hands on. Athletes are encouraged to work together - whether you're new to cheerleading or have experience.
Please be aware that the very nature of cheerleading (which includes some gymnastics and stunting) carries a risk of physical injury. If planning to attend any Open Gyms, please fill out the Open Gym Waiver.

Parents are encouraged to discuss rules for appropriate internet usage, and reinforce lessons of digital citizenship and safety. Please review our technology responsible use guidelines and visit www.isd728.org/Digital-
